Ever since the first owner started serving ramen from a cart in 1948, this business has been offering Rairai-men (photo) that closely follows his original recipe. The special ingredients include pork from Miyakonojo, a Kyushu specialty called satsumaage (fried fishcake), onion, garlic chives, all stewed in a thick and spicy soup. Once you experience this, you may soon become addicted to the sensational spicy taste.
