Machiya Café Mochinaga-tei is the over 100-year-old renovated residence of the Mochinaga Family, with a host of historic features, such as the exterior stone walls and the highly decorative wooden panels used as transoms in certain rooms. The house, the gate, and the stone walls are of particular significance, and nationally registered as tangible cultural properties.
